#04NR14 - Pre-Register for MRF's BEAST of the East Conference Today!

There are ONLY FIVE DAYS LEFT TO PRE-REGISTER for the 2004 Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF) BEAST of the East Conference in Canandaigua, New York! You can pre-register online through the MRF website at www.mrf.org/events.php, or by contacting Carol Downs, MRF Director of Events and Conferences. You must make your own hotel reservations by contacting the Canandaigua Inn directly at 1-800-228-2801. ROOMS MUST BE RESERVED BY MARCH 29 to be assured a place to sleep at the conference site. To get our special room rate, be sure to tell the hotel that you are with the MRF BEAST of the East Conference.

This year's BEAST is co-hosted by ABATE of New York, and the theme is "Unity - Get Everyone Involved." For many of you, this will be your first opportunity to meet the MRF's new Vice President of Government Relations, Jeff Hennie, who will be presenting an overview of the MRF's legislative agenda. Bill Cox from ABATE of New York will be doing a session for all motorcyclists' rights organization (MRO) leaders on "How to Work Better Together," and Steen Petersen from ABATE of Pennsylvania will be doing a presentation on their "Operation Save a Life" rider safety program. A workshop on "Getting Involved with Your Government" will be presented by Sputnik from the Texas Motorcycle Rights Association II.

Teri Stobbs of the MRF, Paul Cote of the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association, Sean Maher and Imre Szauter of the American Motorcyclist Association, and Nadine Mack, RN will be offering workshops at this year's MRF BEAST of the East Conference as well. Our Saturday night banquet will feature a special presentation by tribal members on the contributions to the U.S. Constitution by the Haudenosaunee and Seneca Nations. You can view the entire BEAST agenda on the MRF website at www.mrf.org/botedetails.php.

As you can see, this year's BEAST will be quite a conference - one you don't want to miss! Looking forward to seeing you all in New York!
