#03NR28 - Pre-Registration Deadline Extended for MRF Meeting of the Minds 2003

The Motorcycle Riders Foundation's Meeting of the Minds 2003 conference in Green Bay, Wisconsin from September 18-21 will be one of the most exciting and informative ever held. The MRF has extended the Meeting of the Minds pre-registration deadline through Monday, September 8 due to time considerations resulting from two back-to-back national motorcycling events held in August. The Meeting of the Minds is the MRF's premier leadership conference that boasts an audience from across the nation and around the world. What a way to wind up a history-making year for motorcyclists!

One of the highlights of this year's Meeting of the Minds conference will be an EPA panel discussion including Dr. Radwan Saade of the U.S. Small Business Administration, Inventor George Coates, John Paliwoda of the California Motorcycle Dealers Association and Tom Wyld, MRF Vice President of Government Relations. There will also be a panel discussion regarding health care that will include Deb Craig of ABATE of Colorado and Ed Moreland of the American Motorcyclist Association, as well as Ken Ray and Tom Wyld of the MRF.

This year's Meeting of the Minds agenda includes several new workshops and general sessions, kicked off with a discussion of the history of the motorcyclists' rights movement. We will host workshops on everything from motorcycle safety to political action committees to European motorcycling issues. In addition, there will be a presentation regarding "global test bikes" and the U.S. involvement in globalization of motorcycles.

The MRF is also proud to announce that the keynote speaker for the Meeting of the Minds banquet this year will be U.S. Congressman Mark Green of Wisconsin. You can review the complete agenda and register for this year's Meeting of the Minds conference on the MRF website at www.mrf.org/events.php. You can also register by contacting MRF Office Manager Beverly Waters at 202-546-0983. We hope to see you there!
