Register for Meeting of the Minds 2002 Today!

The Meeting of the Minds is the Motorcycle Riders Foundation's premier leadership conference that boasts an audience from across the nation and around the world. Thanks to our hosts from ABATE of Michigan, the Meeting of the Minds will be held in Lansing, Michigan this year from September 26-29, 2002. As with all MRF conferences, the Meeting of the Minds is designed to educate and motivate those in the motorcyclists' rights community. In addition to being a fantastic learning opportunity, this event is a great chance to meet and/or renew friendships with other people who are as passionate about motorcyclists' rights as you are.

This year's agenda for the Meeting of the Minds is exciting, innovative and informative. Topics discussed will include the EPA's recently proposed regulations for street motorcycles, the reauthorization of the Transportation Equity Act of the 21st Century, and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996. There will be workshops and presentations from several MRF board members, ABATE of Michigan and other State Motorcyclists' Rights Organization members, several Michigan legislators, the National Association of State Motorcycle Safety Administrators, the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, the American Motorcyclist Association, and the Federation of European Motorcyclists Associations. In addition, Slider Gilmore will be presenting his workshop, "How to Succeed in Life."

You can view the complete agenda for this year's Meeting of the Minds at http://www.mrf.org/motmdetails.php. We also encourage you to visit INB Radio at http://www.inbradio.com/mrf/ to listen to live broadcasts that were recorded from some of the 2000 and 2001 MRF conferences to give you a better idea about the types of issues that are discussed and presented.

REGISTER TODAY for the conference itself and obtain information for reserving a hotel room at the conference site by visiting http://www.mrf.org/events.php. Today (August 26, 2002) is the deadline for advance pre-registration and hotel reservations for Meeting of the Minds 2002. After today, the hotel will release all of our non-reserved rooms to the general public, and the cost for the conference will increase slightly. If you have questions, contact the MRF's Director of Events and Conferences, Pam Piacenti, at pam@mrf.org.

See you in Lansing!

- MRF: My Ride is Freedom -

The first motorcyclists' rights organization to establish a full-time legislative advocacy presence in Washington. The Motorcycle Riders Foundation is the only Washington voice devoted exclusively to the street rider. MRF established MRFPAC in the early 1990s to advocate the election of candidates who would champion the cause of rider safety and rider freedom. MRF proudly claims state motorcyclists' rights organizations and the very founders of the American rider rights movement among its leading members. Motorcyclists worldwide can thumb-start their search for rider rights and safety on the web at www.mrf.org.
