Contact:Carol Downs, Director of Conferences & Events

Best of the West Reminder

Best of the West is just a month away; June 6-8. There is nothing like June in the Colorado mountains. We promise great riding, great learning and great fun. But you need to get your room reservations made now. Our group rate of $89.99 is only good for reservations made by May 8th.

ABATE of Colorado will be hosting this event. We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Summit County in Frisco. It is right off I-70 in Frisco. There is no designated airport shuttle to the hotel from the Denver Airport. If you need transportation from the airport call the hotel for options.

Registration must also be paid no later than May 8th for the pre-registration discount. For MRF members that rate is $60; non-MRF members are $70. After May 8th the rate increases by $10 to $70 and $80 respectively. You may register by going on-line to www.mrf.org. Click on Conference Information 2014 on the right hand side of the page. It will lead you to conference information and registration. You may also register by calling the Washington D.C. office at 202.546.0983. You can also mail in your registration. It must be postmarked by May 8th to receive the discount.

We have some good workshops planned with a little something for everyone. I can tell you from experience that ABATE of Colorado will go out of its way to be a good host. I expect good food and good drink. If possible plan a couple days before or after the Conference to enjoy riding in the Colorado Rockies. ABATE of Colorado will have maps available that show and rate all of the roads in the state. The hotel will honor our room rate for two days prior and two days after the Conference.
